He's not putting u.s interests. This is literally an issue that doesn't matter and no one understands why you care so much. Healthcare is an issue that matters. I swear reps use the federal government for nonsense. Why don't individual states deal with this non issue. This doesn't help the u.s at all. It won't help the infrastructure. It has nothing to do with your jobs and the uncertain future. Or people getting am education for better jobs. This doesn't affect the country as a whole People want drifs because they're I'm bad economic or personal straits. Plus wouldn't that fall under personal responsibility. These people will get drugs from somewhere else Abuse different things What we need is something that helps them get off drugs. Healthcare. Not saying enforcement is important. But that involves locating specific groups. It's something we have to live with. There isn't one thing that will stop it.. and this affect half the issue in a lazy way. The truth is boots on ground help more. The truth is healthcare helps more The truth is people being happy helps more via a better livelihood

This is a minor issue in a minor number of states. Why don't they deal with it themselves.

How is it an invasion. Look up the definition. You know it's not. It's not a military campaign. It's not even a terrorist campaign. It's not any kind of invasion. It's immigration. It's migration. From varied different countries. They merely have to go the same route.

@goes2112 webster's invaders 1. to enter for conquest or plunder Are they here for conquest or to plunder? No. the example for the one you give "permeate doubts invade his mind" It is the wrong context. to encroach upon : infringe - they aren't trying to infringe. Encroach would depend on how metaphysical it is. "to affect injuriously and progressively gangrene invades healthy tissue" they aren't trying to injure you. So not invaders. Especially yhe first, which is the one associated with the human context.

@goes2112 let's tackle this "What makes the USA so special? Is it magic dirt? Is it the systemic racism/sexism that makes all these people want to come here? Does 1 mile south of the boarder really have so much fewer resources than our side? What makes America great is the American culture, legal system, economic system? Why can't other countries emulate all these things and duplicate our success, instead of just coming here and taking them from us?" this is a fair point. The answer is nothing. Or money. For one, canada is further away. The people near european countries, go to to european countries for the most part. Tho some want to get as far as possible. But basically Proximity. And I'll be honest that I don't know the answer. I forgot to mention that. But let's not forget that the U.S has two advantages. 1. They started out smaller, and grew bigger. Most other SA settlements were already established across a much larger landmass. That's how the U.S got texas afterall. 2. The U.S itself has destablized the region repeatedly. While the U.S has been relatively peaceful within it's own structure. The only war it launched was basically a sort of piracy against the natives. And the one civil war. I'm sure there's other reasons I just don't know about. It's like being rich. Success develops success. Wealth creates more wealth. The leg ups the U.S have had, with WW2 ect, and with it started out stronger and having relatively weak opponents and stability have just given it more wealth. It is a shame that there is so much immigration in that sense. Because I'm sure a lot of people would have loved to stay in their country. If everyone's country were great. But some countries are just so small too. It's the same reason why people move out of towns into cities. And from lower poor states to richer ones.

@BowlinJosh " especially : incursion of an army for conquest or plunder " way to leave out the context. And then you'll pretend to be innocent about misusing speech. let's also define invasion here: "to enter for conquest or plunder" so are we talking about a large number of things. A disease? socially? someone is invading my personal space? It's not your private property. that's not being invaded right. Invasion and invaders are used very specifically. And with ill intention.

@BowlinJosh especially:"used to single out one person, thing, or situation over all others." No it doesn't mean only. But it in a human context, it means what I said it means. How are you using it. why aren't you using migrating. Because you aren't honest. You're being misleading. I did not leave out the context. and I did not use it in an out of context way. I even went over a whole list of definitions in this comment thread. There's a reason that word is being used. And that's to conflate it with a hostile invasion. Which you know is wrong. The only political convenience is people like you, using the army, to kill people for no reason. That pose no threat. You are misusing the word. You have to know this. Or you're the one who is ignorant. you can use the word invasion to describe tourist. But that's not a literal use. Most uses are not literal in a human context. You're conjuring images of pillaging and such hoards. When you know that's not the reality. Because that's the language you're using.

Do you know what a caravan is? I swear I don't think English is your first language. Or one you understand. A caravan is for safe travel. They aren't Invaders. They are literally migrants seeking either asylum or entry. They might have documentation or they might make their case.
