@stephjovi guess what, that's what already happened 99.9% of the time. Why would you think it didn't. There's nothing wrong if someone adds a guy, or mister, or Ms/Mrs(miss) to that either. Or man, or dude, ECT. Like why do people that don't know anything about how a culture functions think so arrogantly that they do, and how they "should" work.

It's funny that some fins think we considered this a "problem" that needed a "solution". When generally, like most of the questions, no one cares. Mrs and Ms are pronounced similarly, because the short of missus is Miss. So the default is Miss. No title is usually used in daily speech. It's used as a self title, or people are asked(in very specific settings and situations). Rarely spoken unless you don't know the person and the setting is somewhat formal/professional but there's no need to know their name. Then you can informally(or respectfully) say Miss, among dozens of other ways to catch someone's attention momentarily.
