@Drew-82 Make their own money? This dude lost a bid. And they want to give him a participation trophy that comes with a winning purse the same as the winner. He's failing and being rewarded for it. And you can make people less homeless with programs. J.K Rowling was living off welfare. Welfare lifted someone up to being a millionaire.

@Drew-82 I don't get what you're saying. I didn't say it was a problem. I'm saying giving money to the poor helps them because in fact they do do something with it. It helps climb people out of poverty. You said poor people would do nothing. The way people want to give money could be through the government. Which is both more permanent and efficient. And no one said to shut down anything or even hate the rich. People only hate them when and because they get in their way and control government. you're talking about them making their own money when the government is giving money to this company.

@Drew-82 They become hopefully not homeless, so there is less homelessness. And less poverty. But you can complain about people being mean to rich people when rich people are getting their way instead of looking at proposals to help the most people.
