  1. This is like blaming Ukraine for Russia attacking. I get the sentiment. But this isn't other countries talking about hitting Russia with Nukes. This is acknowledging that the Russian government is acting so nuts that they might use Nukes. Which only fortifies the point that it's acting nuts.

  3. I think everyone is so used to U.S imperialism that they don't see when an action would actually be justified, morally at least. I don't think the U.S should be leading on this. But I also don't think there's anything wrong if Ukraine had been helped. Being in fear of Russia will paralyze us every time? I'm not for the air zone but a plane being shot down over a sovereign country isn't cause for war. It'd be illegal for that plane to be there. Now Russia is acting crazy so maybe they'd take it that way. Troops on the ground from NATO, mostly from EU would have made sense somewhere as a line to hold Russia off for peace talks. That would be Russia attacking them. Not us attacking Russia. If Russia had seen that this would be difficult. they might have not bothered. When a county is invaded, I'm sure the people wonder why no one helps them. This just adds a layer of hypocrisy. To all of you and your take on morality. To the U.S teaching about WW2. I'm not calling for it. But to say every country should avoid what's already happening, or take that choice off the table is what I disagree with. The threat itself might be useful in negotiations( as a possibility and not an ultimatum)
