  1. Interesting. But it might still be a bad precedent to dismiss judges just because of political or idealogical affiliation. A dictator would do it too. But I'm not against setting limits that work retroactively.

  2. Very good idea that re-confirmations. We're used to long term judges so maybe set it at 10 but I'm no expert on what's best with that.

  3. I had the EXACT same thought. We need at least 3 more judges to balance it. It's balancing it and that's fair. It wouldn't be 4-6 left or center leaning. But at least equalize it at 12. Edit: and comments are making good points for 13.
