@saytax there was no coup except in the donbas. Russia invaded ukraine while the idea of joining nato was stalled for years. It revived the idea. Russia invaded when ukraine wanted to sign for closer ties to the EU. Russia didn't pick a fight with a nato country. It would keep russia awah.

Whats stupid is that Putin knows that he doesn't have to worry about an invasion from freaking Europe. He'd have to be the one to start something.

@bryce1334 youre opinion is bad. NATO isn't about Russia. And obviously russia is ks still a threat. It doesn't make sense to build such an alliance and just dismantle it. And nato and russia were friends, NATO was trying to cooperate with Russia. Nato didn't try to get close to Russia. Why would it. It doesn't make sense. Think about it.

@xena6894 It really doesnt. And its negligible to the US too On top of that, this war is not anything in US' face. Its rhe opposite. This is a totally legitimate case of self defense with UN agreement. US has such a strong moral standing that it makes the US look good.

@xena6894 youre deluded. You can't speak for countries. And nato doesnt have to be good. Its not evil. Yugoslavia is literally the only time Nato hasnt acted out of defense or with UN sanctioning. How can a country joining an alliance be encroachment An alliance where countries remain sovereign and free. You drank the kool aid onto the comet

@nonyabisness6306 what is with revisionism. After the cold war, countries bent over backwards to accommodate Russia. They created joint councils, joined other councils. Russia was integrated into the same stuff it got kicked out of. They kept giving Russia cooperation agreements. Nato absolutely gave russia an olive branch

@Ay-xq7mj they didn't explode Russian nationals. There were militants/terrorists trying to take over parts of Ukraine. And they would have been stopped quickly but russia interfered. That war had gone cold with very little happening. And the UN and every one that isnt nuts knows Russia attacked with no just cause.

@Warren_Peace ha nato hasnt even tried to fight. A lot of pro Russians call ukraine poor when they eant to insult it. But Russia failed to handle Ukraine. Even russia didn't expect that even before any AID came in. Or extra.
