Are you trying to defend the racist? The sign was in english in the store. The service staff spoke to him in english. And the owner talked in english. Some people are just riled up and triggered.

I think this is what youngish conservatives don't get. They act like "what's the big deal" when people point out rhetoric and they try to justify it. But there are a lot of older people that become very confused or are naive or are more racist with this illegals talk. They start accusing everyone(within racial stereotype) of it. These people really are easily triggered because fake news riles them about immigrants and "illegals". And this is a group of people weaponized for politics without knowing it. And then they get caught in the crossfire of this type of person blowing up.

@valuecalc they spoke to him in english. The freak out has nothing to do with hearing english or no one talking it because 4 people there beside him spoke English.

@valuecalc this issue was definitely either racism or stoked by fears of illegal immigration, and the belief that "white" or "american" culture is getting taken over. Or else he wouldn't have made a big deal of a translated sign, having a spanish word(which two official places in the u.s recognize as an official language, New Mexico and puerto rico). You're being willfully ignorant of racism here.

@valuecalc he was already doing a tirade. Now you wanna blame other people for him blowing up at staff. How can you blame the customers being bothered with someone going nuts while they're in line or he's being disruptive. Why are you defending the racist guy that attacked others instead of any of the other people that got hassled by him for no reason. Why are you being an apologist for this one bad dude?

@valuecalc that's bullshit. Who in slave holding U.S would have cried racism? They either didn't care. Or one theory is that they knew other europeans like germans ect. But some states and territories have official constitutions in spanish as well. None of which changes that nowhere does the u.s have an official language.

@valuecalc bullshit again. There comes a time where you have to eject customers because some of them are unruly for whatever reason, beyond a reasonable level. I worked at a Walmart with a walkie. The man went in there to fight. Even explaining it didn't change anything. Again, why defend a racist? And it's not his unruly behavior that makes him a potential and likely racist, it's what he spoke about, what he decided to argue, what he said. At best he's extraordinarily xenophobic. But that usually comes with some racism.
