someone tried telling Biden that. He pushed them away and told them to vote for someone else

Most don't seem to like it except for a niche americanized U.S born group that's rare. And people who take what that small group says as true. I have never used that term and was confused when it came up.

@hamd52 Also these people that think that they speak for others. They think that thehy can speak for all hispanics to other people. Like they're usually born here too. It's so arrogant.

No. That's a white term and it's offensively stupid. use hispanic or latin if you want to use english terms.

@godzillamegatron3590 Even so, latino isn't a made up term. It's just a pan term. You can then break it down further by nationality which is what most people would call themselves(unless born in the U.S). I don't use it usually to obscure my nationality by birth. When I was a kid people used to give dumb responses when you tell them where you're from or what you are and It wasn't what they were looking for really. Plus people have some biases or beliefs that it's better to just sort of obscure it unless they ask for it specifically. I actually prefer hispanic. Latin is slightly confusing for what people want to know.

@CCMIF When i was a kid people would just say spanish. An older co worker said it and the younger coworker was confused. I hadn't heard people use it in a long time.
