Most people didn't say that. It's democrats running Biden. The left-leaning people wanted Bernie Sanders, and to a lesser extent Tulsi Gabbard, Andrew Yang, and Elizabeth Warren. That's more of a stereotype conservatives and some center democrats think. That came up when AOC endorsed Bernie, and she had to explain that no one really thinks like that. And Trump is also an old white guy, and it's people who think like he does, and Biden to a lesser extent, that people don't want.

sleepy, and sleeping on the wheel aren't the same thing. Kinda mixing analogies. Trump literally made the situation in the U.S worst with covid. He's extending the problem. The basic options are Trump, Biden, and maybe whoever the green party runs. But between Biden and Trump, Trump is far worst than someone with low energy.

@royrogers482 What are you for man? You can't just be against things. Or you have nothing. Look at Bernie's life and you see him fighting for the people as a progressive. And the solution is definitely not republicans because no one is more corporate than they are. So what's your solution? Bernie Sanders campaign didn't accept corporate money. Again, what candidate do you support? Trump? Because that would be too hypocritical man. You better be in here saying this crap as a socialist or something. Republicans are the ones in favour of for profit prisons. Again man, who are you saying is the better choice? You know who benefits the most from tax cuts? The wealthiest people, and the corporations. Social programs help the working and middle class the most. They help the majority of the people the most. I honestly don't know if you're coming at this from a left wing perspective, in which case you're just making a sweep generalization of everyone. Or a crazy right wing one.

I don't think anyone wants four more years of trump. And people hope Biden keeps his promise of one term. Plus he's way too old to go a full 8 years, his decline is real. Damn real. There's no way he'll want 8 years. He just wanted to put this in his obituary at this point. So challenging a vacant seat for Democratic candidate is very appealing.

It could go either way. Things have changed a lot even before Covid. A good portion of the right could hide behind this kind of attitude, and this opposition to cultural issues that don't matter as much. Most of those commentators have fallen. Hillary, both for being unlikeable and related to the clintons, and potentially for being a woman, has been replaced. Biden, for worst, is slightly more conservative. An old white guy, who is semi popular with both older black people and white people. The old will vote for him. The young might from having no choice. Then there's the energizing affect of Trump as opposition. These are different circumstances. And right now, Biden is winning despite people being cautious with results. It's possible if Covid dies down enough to be a distant memory by november. And Biden blows the debates totally. And if Trump doesn't blow them, and doesn't screw up more than he has. Or Covid is either not done, or still fresh in peoples minds.

That's usually true. But polling shows him overcoming it already. Plus he was vice president. that helps with name recognition that presidents have. For 8 years, he was in the camera. And he's backed by the previous president, who's damn popular. And his wife who is currently damn popular.
