Tom Holland calling himself quite short when he's 5'8 and average height is 5'9. The image of height is so off. Zendaya, and I don't mean this in a negative way because she's a gorgeous young woman, is above average for a woman. And they get along well. So it's a good example of how it doesn't even have to be an issue.

Here's the thing. The short of it is you just have to do it and get over the hump, the period of slight awkwardness where the change stands out. People will accept your change over time. I actually got this advice from a weird place. This random fashion video by this girl whose dress I consider over the top. She talked about how she switched styles over time in HS. She wanted to dress crazy or fashionable like some other girl. And she started to, and people noticed the change but she kept doing it. And eventually she became known as the stylish one(or the same type of girl she admired).

I wouldn't use terms or even discrimination per se. But there is a noted stigma by academia. Taller people tend to be in positions of power. They tend to be given these positions. Doesn't mean that it's exclusive. But there's a bias. I don't think it's like as bad as racial stuff by far. People can overcome it easily relative to other biases. So people should change it because it doesn't make sense. But Its not like a injustice level thing. It's about the same as beauty bias. Or for men it could be considered part of it. I don't remember if the same holds true for women. But based on certain trends I wouldn't be surprised if it used to not matter but has been adopted over time.

Heh land of giants.

Gee I don't think it's the best. Especially if you aren't a comedian. It can just as well be a sign of a lack of self esteem. And it can actually make you sad, actually feeding a low self esteem.

@MrChannelforwatching that's no issue. She's very pretty. Panda is being nuts.

@JimmyBoosterCrate Google search says he 5'8. And the average height of the U.K is 5'9. Average height in the U.S is also 5'9. That's the three searches I did before I wrote my first comment. I didn't just guess at it. Now that info could be wrong but it wasn't a guess.

@JimmyBoosterCrate where's this info. 3 sources say he's 5'8. Specifically 5'8.11. He's practically 5'9.

@JimmyBoosterCrate so I tried to look for an interview to see if he mentions it. And I found the interview this channel used and he says he's only 1-2 inches shorter than Zendaya. Which matches the 5'8,almost 9. And I'm not picking on you. I just wanted to make a post to address everything. And they all said about the same and yours was the last one.

@JimmyBoosterCrate heh at this point you don't trust anyones info, making it all moot. The difference between them could be explained from one being 10.1-10.11 and whatever shoes each has at the moment. You can find pictures where they are almost equal, or even with her seeming slightly taller, and shorter. But if you can't trust the info at all, then it's impossible.
