Whether we're there or not, they fought. This gave them a fighting chance and the tools to do it. They've regain most of their country. The US is helping them keep their country and freedoms and sovereignty.
6
They've tried multiple times but rightwingers say no. The party of no.
6
Matias D.C you're definitely a fan, calling Russia a super power. Russia invaded Ukraine in the first place. This isn't some NATO master plan. Whether NATO's interests aligns, which it hasn't done anything. The individual countries have.
6
@NikoMalekMusic I agree it's exaggerated.
6
@tttuu3309 No invaded or attacked anyone during the Cuban crisis.
2
That makes no sense
2
@agimezei spreading lies that can be easily fact checked is ridiculous. It's a strategy where dishonest, probably state (Russian) actors hope people don't remember. Zelenski is estimated to be around 20 mil.
2
That's right. Nobody said that. And nobody said NATO was trying to dominate the world either.
2
arrest all those people. And investigate this thoroughly.
2
Is this the new Russian strategy? To use words that they don't understand the meaning to?
2
That's what the representational aspect is in a representative Republic.
1
We could have universal healthcare in this country but rightwingers don't want that. That money would not have been used for anything except military stuff. And most of this money is equipment that was just there.
1
That's BS. It's either aid to the sick ECT that the US gives. Or it's old equipment. It's also BS because a section of the government wouldn't have wanted to use any extra money for anything, because they'd call that wasteful. And it's BS because the military budget always gets approval. Only some rightwingers are saying this bs. And they've never turned down the military before.
1
@jowbloe4700 We weren't going to.
1
Russia is warring against Ukraine that was minding its own business. Why don't you tell Russia to stop this war? Maybe you're afraid of what the Russian government will do.
1
What about this unrelated this
1
@johndaily2597 no one knows anything about the Crimean bridge thing. And no one has said it's U.S weapons even in theory. Russia has already done that by attacking Ukraine. And Crimea is still part of Ukraine. And it was a military target because of supplies. Casualties were kept at a minimum. Russia meanwhile just attacked a few central majorly trafficked areas out of a tantrum.
1
@mypronounismaster4450 all Russia proved was Ukraine's point of needing to be in NATO for protection.
1
@johndaily2597 another whataboutism that ignores everything, like that the Falklands has had the Brits there since forever. And it's not in my eyes. It's international law, it's not legal. What Russia did was illegal. Crimea didn't have a free and fair election to even voice an opinion before Russia invaded. It is legally still Ukraine. And even if it was Russia, Russia started a war and it would still be a legitimate target. A random city square full of civilians wasn't.
1
@johndaily2597 a giant army moved in. That's a fact. It's a different context than the British and the people there having lived in a place for 150 years. It was illegal in a modern context, not some hold over situation from the 1800s. Russia invaded a country that it recognized it had no claim to. But the issue isn't whether Crimea is legit or not, it was whether that bridge was a legit target, and it definitely was. Ukraine didn't start that. The Russians invaded Ukraine. First with Crimea and donbas, and then the entire country. So it's really ridiculous for Russia to cry about it. Or target civilians as a tantrum response to it. They don't have a leg to stand at. Whataboutism is you bringing in situations that don't matter into a conversation about Crimea. The Falklands don't matter. But I took the time to explain the context there. The Brits didn't invade, they had that as a hold over for 150 years. It's a different context than the Brits invading Argentina and annexing some territory.
1
He should visit the civilians he's injured. .maybe it'll help him find his humanity
1
What a rip off
1
Probably "I never thought that this would happen in Brazil"
1
Didn't some dude just lost an election. Sounds like that was the will of the people

Idols are images of a god.

@donatonamusic that's the Lord's day and not the Sabbath, which is still on Saturday. And that's called intercession, and praying for people doesn't mean you worship them. Prayer should transform the individual, and using examples is fine. It can be asking them to pray for them/you/the person. But it's never worshipping them. He's(the pope) a scholar and authority on a subject. Prophets/priests ect and such have always been part of the religion. As well as Protestant churches also allow that kind of prayer. And the Catholic Church is one of the original churches. Literally every branch of Christianity(except one or two) are descended from them. And if you're Hispanic than it's part of your cultural legacy and religion.
1
@dupe8383 everyone is innocent when it comes to a war being forced upon you because they are not guilty of starting the war.
1
"Why would a democracy invest in a democracy " I'll assume you mean itself and not an ally. But it's because it's an ally. That's being attacked, which is immoral. Why let this dictatorship take over an allied nation that you guaranteed protection for
1
@DamnitMan88 the agenda seems to be that Russia has done this before to that person's friend. Heh people try to use these buzzwords to cast doubt but you're not even making sense.
1
I doubt you know any of this for a fact. Wouldn't change that it's Russians attacking the country by lobbing missles.
1
@johnfor7522 Russia's didn't learn from anyone. They were part of the problem. And are worst. They don't believe in freedom, or basic rights. They're trying to be imperialist and expansionists. Putin's government represents the worst parts of the 20th and 21st century. Hell, even the 19th. He's a throw back. Who's innovations are in the worst spheres of the worst aspects of humanity.
1
Matias D.C you keep outing yourself. We don't call you "the bear". You're unimportant except as a psycho with a gun called nukes.
1
@Superabound2 NATO had nothing to do with them... Russia and it's proxies never followed them. And Russia admitted to both for different reasons. Acting ignorant of it's role. And the other was about the order of doing it.
1
@Superabound2 meanwhile Russia is violating the budpest memorandum. The friendship treaty between Ukraine and Russia with it's taking of crimea. And probably more.
1
@gabrielle-d1b I think you are. I mean you're proving it. You're being very not smart.
1
You'd dodge the facts expertly. Now you can go on believing lies.
