  1. the tax rate thing would be only after a certain threshold. And the question was phrased badly on purpose. There's no plan to abolition private plans which no one likes except people that can afford extraordinarily fancy ones. It would just make private insurance unnecessary for the majority. People with extra cash to burn can still get it. And in countries with a public healthcare system, it usually costs a lot less. Unions wouldn't care. Why would they. They're about collective bargaining. The fact that they've had to bargain it is the problem. It's like something they bargained being turned into law. Why would they complain. It's big businesses in insurance and pharma that are against it. It's like I'm sure there were conservatives against giving the military and old people free healthcare when it first happened.

  3. ​ @kittenkorleone2918  You have to understand that these people think they're doing the right thing, and I live in a liberal city. So I don't think it would change anything. Plus my family is too. Even if they're wrong about it, they want to help the people of this Country.
