Who is normal people, and how does that account for even Hillary winning the popular vote, even tho she's a horribly unpopular figure?

why can't republicans see how they create their own self destruction. Everything is worst for poor whites right now because of republican policies. The suicide rate for white guys is through the roof.

@MuskratOutdoors o would that include Liberal people as long as they aren't warped. Now we need to know what warped is. What if they want to do the same as europe. Or asia. And what is a warped conservative mind just as bad? These are rhetorical questions in a sense. Tho it's true that it's important to define things. But if someone thinks all normal people are republicans, than that is an incredible bias. We need to look objectively where normal people fit. We'd have to define normal too by either the average or what's acceptable, what is within normal. Basically it's not good to count on it. For now, it seems Biden, the democrat, is doing well with more people than Trump. I mean we'll see in November.

Nothing about that amounts to a dystopia. And no one is going to open the border. Maybe in a hundred years or 150/200, they'll be some sort of European union in the Americas of that scale. But who knows, no one is really advocating for that. I'm not sure why you think the dems don't want a middle class, which is shrinking now. Let's talk the progressive left, who want better wealth distribution. That would actually make a solid middle class, and lift the working class up to a comfortable degree. Most of those movies about elitism are about the rich, the ones republicans cater to. Look at Escape from New York, Hollywood leans left, their general idea of dystopia is from what might come from republicans and even worst wealth gap distribution. Look at rollerball ect. Why do you guys act like The republicans aren't for the elites and business when that has always been their platform and their policies. TAX CUTS do not benefit the poor. The poor benefit from social safety nets and welfare. They benefit when taxes are used for schooling, and healthcare. It's the rich that don't need that because they can pay it all off. They can survive in a barebones, gilded age society. That's what republicans want. A throwback closer to a dog eat dog world of capitalism, where corporations aren't held in check.
