MacDonald's was talking to use you and Haverford either wants to either build you up or compete truth is colleges aren't nice places. they also don't care and are competitive places. despite all this safe crap to some extend colleges don't care and are willing to sacrifice students to make other students better ECT. college is its own rat race.

  3. rachybaby72 rachy you've got that kind of wrong. colleges were for building elites. people use the system to get a career due to the knowledge needed and because of the process of professionalization. one came first and then the other. but colleges were never built with careers in mind. maybe business schools which has their own development that then merged with schools. look at the history. school isn't to make you a professional, being a profession is a side effect. it's a prerequisite of being a professional. not is it about expanding your mind or anything like that. that is also just a side effect. people are confusing the side effects for the cause.

  5. A rhetorical question for republicans so that they can feel good about themselves. People don't hate conservatives, Or republicans or whatever else. They hate what some conservatives try to do to others. To a smaller extent, and interrelated, what they stop others from doing.
