@good2goskee a social contract, a bill of rights, a constitution, are far more important to a state than a religious text.

@good2goskee I doubt it. I come from a Catholic country, Catholic family, and now I'm in the U.S. Most of the Americas and Europe and most of Asia, and I bet India would all agree that what's best for a country/state is a decent constitution over one religion's text. This is what makes a good fair government. Not about personal salvation or advice. I'm not too familiar with Africa but I saw one documentary about one election there and it wasn't about making the state based on one religion. Edit: look at how Italy separated church and state, and made the Vatican independent from their government.
