And that's exactly why they wanted someone better, and are reporting this. They wanted something better than Trump. And they still do. The problem is that it hasn't improved much.

@FairIdeas9 This is where the right wing get it twisted. It's about how to handle it. The right wing approach borders on a totalitarian approach of terror tactics, and swat teams, and racist stop and frisk. When we had approaches that worked better that weren't heavy handed.

The same thing that happened under Trump. Except now we're working towards at least some solutions that aren't right wing fantasies. You could even say Biden inherited it from Trump.

@N D She didn't break the law. The problem is that the entire region, especially for poor people, is having problems. Colombia is one of the richest countries in SA(top 5). And the average U.S worker earns 5 times as much. And then there's the violence people flee. Fleeing her hometown, her husband, where she established a life, means she lost everything. And moving to a different town would have the same problems, poverty and violence. So it's the same as fleeing the country, except with less chance of making a living, and a greater chance of death. Now guatemala is 4 times less wealthy than colombia or so(based on my own math which could be wrong). It would be the same immigration regardless of country(except 3 other central american countries). And you can only claim asylum once.

They aren't trying for illegal entry. Except maybe that one kid/dude. They're going to the border at entry points and asking.
