@SandfordSmythe you don't defeat apartheid and then give the keys back to the people that commit it. That was the mistake. The country should have taken over everything public, with a specific aim not to raise these types of people. A different public education. And yes, wealth distribution. The rich slave holders were the problem. They should have made a new generation of rich people. They needed a break in the chain. Instead of melding the chain back together. I don't know what anyone would care to give these evil traitors their wealth back Look at the racist people in these comments that try to justify this. Even accelerating things a bit, would have been better. This isn't occupying another country. But just making sure one's own country is better. maybe even have helped them with their infrastructure. The goal should have been for an entire generation to be better. The gold standard is what Germany did. They should have stayed for a generation to make sure it could propagate itself.

@Cash4Cornbread I get you're a republican, and you see things a certain way. A very fiscal conservative. And I won't see things your way. But it would be good if you realized that people pointing out problems aren't just people crying over nothing. That people wanting to improve things is just that. No conspiracy to power. No secret hatred. What do you mean by democratic policies? democracy or politicians? Neither party has always been consistent to some belief. But it's incorrect to say that under democrats the country has floundered. Whether it's FDR or Clinton, and even if you disagree with their policies, at least in what right wingers value, it did well. You're acting like legally, black people(?) stopped being wronged after slavery... that's just factually incorrect. That's upto the 60s. Not even a century. And then do you think all those racist people vanished? Or do you think they didn't teach their kids something similar. Socially, racist attitudes, and people have still existed, and these people get jobs. Read into it if you want to understand it, instead of purely focusing on looking up topics to argue against it.

@Cash4Cornbread you're crazy. Stats show people are treated differently by skin color. And those neighborhoods are poor and cheap. And usually immigrant groups have their own. And that has nothing to do with illegal immigration.

@Cash4Cornbread Rusty I have no idea what your skincolor is so I have no idea what agenda you fit, nor do you know what my agenda is. I stated a plain fact. It's funny how you only your stats are real. Also two parent households have nothing to do with what I said, the two don't exclude each other. Tho it's more about likelihood that advantage. You call people emotional but don't think you yourself are? There's not that many "illegals" and in practical purposes, how would someone distinguish between them and a legal immigrant? So you want government action in this but then decry the government in other things. You're trying to say it's not white vs blacks, its everyone else, all the other immigrants. Or the 3% of illegals. There's 4 border states. You really think black peoples problems are going to be that heavily impacted by "illegal" immigrants. This is a red herring. It wasn't illegal immigrants that led to the civil war, jim crow, the KKK, or equal but separate. It wasn't because of illegals that BLM is a thing. This is a dumb red herring. Acting like people aren't willing to have immigration laws. And acting like this affects black people to any great extent. Or that it would solve the issues they face. It wouldn't even solve white people's issues.
