  1. Let's look at this as a recommendation. Spend 9+ -12 bucks to see a movie that is bad but not that bad. It was feminist (in a negative way) but not too much. Inexplicably: Its somehow entertaining through out Even grace Jones points some stuff out even tho she liked it. And Midnight's edge was much harsher on it.   3. There's nothing wrong if something is made for one demographic. Or one group of people. More specifically, nothing is for everyone. The problem are a few tho. Captain marvel the Character was not made for women. The entire marvel universe wasn't. So trying to gerrymander it or repurpose it to do that is a bit off. It's what's been their problems. Marvel should have just done a new imprint or something. But the marvel movies have been able to get a large general audience. So it's a bit weird to go for that now with them. Of course it's ideal to make something with ones specific or one groups(not race but like growing up and liking say a genre) specific interests. And that having cross appeal.
