 @printingwithpeek4897 they didn't earn not being taxed. That doesn't even make sense. You're making an aristocracy out of someone for having some job, or doing some things.

@printingwithpeek4897 You make no sense. How does doing business elevate people to an aristocracy for no reason. They're just doing trade that benefits them. That doesn't earn them anything special status. And they benefit from society just as well. You're assigning a special value to something basic that they'd do anyway. To something self serving. They aren't doing it as a gift. But just engaging in a basic part of society. And an aspect of that is that no matter how much you earn, you still pay taxes. What you're saying is so backwards. You're saying the people benefiting the most from society should pay nothing to it. And there's no reason for that.

Society. Because it can then afford to exist and not be run down. Which increases commerce, and safety.
