Yes every democracy knows that during war and crisis, you streamline the process. An autocratic dictatorship like Russia already has it streamlined.

Lots of people have lost their life without their input. In daily life, and by Russian attack. Sometimes people don't want to wear seatbelts or not smoke. Sometimes things supercede the individual. The answer is because it's necessary.

I dunno. The politicians didn't decide this war. This is like complaining taxes exist. Certain things do suck but are required for the state to survive.

@marksimpson6387 there's no maybe, that didn't happen. The US didn't do anything. The people protested and the government listened. The guy agreed to stepdown. Then ran and the government dismissed him. Russians always diminish Ukranian autonomy.

@jac9176 how can they be power hungry or greedy in a war they didn't start, and didn't want Like the context matters. The politicians in this context don't matter. It's not about them or their desires. Because they have nothing to do with it. That would be the politicians in Russia.
