@grigol101 nah man. Russia said why it pulled. Because it wanted a better deal. Not because they said Ukraine broke it. Russia wanted to extend the definition really far to include so many things that basically bypassed other sanctions. This is just a very aggressive, very terrorism like, posturing for that deal. Russia broke the deal. Well more specifically they didn't renew it. They must have weighed the potential benefits and disadvantages, and felt it was fine and possibly put pressure on Ukraine to surrender. Of course, the disadvantages are eaten more by Ukraine and other countries first. But it might turn into a miscalculation(it might not).

@johnadam2885 people found out Russia wasn't so tough. But this war came when the US has gotten tired of fighting. And there's been a push for years to not intervene in more wars(it's been growing for decades, but especially since before Trump was elected). There's also the possibility of Russia going nuts and using nuclear weapons.

 @johnadam2885 no one sent Ukraine anywhere. Ukraine didn't move. Russia attacked Ukraine.

@johnadam2885 there's no conditions from sovereignty because that would imply someone else holds it. Ukraine wasn't in an agreement with Russia about it, so how would it be bilateral. Even that republic declaration thing which is separate from their independence declaration, was not a deal with Russia. The neutrality in that soviet Republic thing was also unilateral. It was Ukraine's intent to itself.
