  4. That goes against NATO. But this has almost nothing to do with NATO. It has to do with Russian manipulation and ego. Russia was losing influence in a region it feels it has control over. But that's false. Ukraine is a sovereign country that wanted to have closer ties to Europe. That's why Russia invaded since the first time. When it's manipulations failed. When Ukraine tried to not be corrupt. Russia hates virtue and ideals. It likes corruption and authoritarianism. It hates that it can't manipulate Ukraine. Putin wants to gobble up former USSR countries.
