@aban2423 martial law is different from the authoritarianism of Russia. Did he do this during civil/peace times? Also opposition parties were not banned. Only ones related to the enemy. the language laws in effect when Russia started this were the same ones in effect since the founding of Ukraine. And that was never an issue. 90% of education in Crimea was in Russian when Russia took it over. No one was oppressed by language. Russia planted a war in Ukraine, with it's soldiers and equipment, and organizers from it's government brought in to take over.

@patriziacasagrande3833 read your first paragraph again and realize the hypocrisy of what you've said. Russia wasn't provoked. It used an excuse. There's no agreement.

@patriziacasagrande3833 US wasn't trying to turn any of those countries into English speaking states. US won Iraq. US gave Afghanistan to afghani people. Vietnam had Chinese and Russia influence and the US, by agreement, kept itself to half of the country.

@ИванМартыненко-и3б go fight the US then. The war started because Russia wanted a war. It thought it could easily get a war. It thought people would react like when it grabbed Crimea. Because it dismisses Ukranians nationality and sovereignty. Because of it's ego and it's wannabe super power status. And for resources.
