@MostAmericansAreClueless1 I don't know what nonsense you believe. I didn't specify. I pointed out the stupidity of attacking a country that doesn't control NATO policy and wasn't in NATO. If Russia had taken it over, it'd be closer to NATO. Russia is already close to NATO. And now it'll have more NATO members, it isn't attacking, nearby. The pretext of NATO makes no sense. But even if it was to establish a puppet state. It would be oppressing Ukraine. Well I saw someone already explain this to you better.

@Anna87147 It was taken. There was a poll, sometimes before, about what country Crimeans considered their motherland..and it was Ukraine. There was no push or desire for Crimeans to join Russia before.

 @KeYm5254 parties aren't democratically elected..candidates are. If a party is siding with an invading force, then they're betraying the country. It's fortunate that they're only being banned.
