@Kukura001 and 20 something countries speak Spanish and aren't the same country. Dozens speak English and aren't the same country. That's the point. They could be similar or different but they aren't the same country

@igoldenage there's like 12 but that doesn't determine a country. More if you include organizations. A country is a country if it's a territory and does country like things. Recognition helps but doesn't define it Let's see, 45 orgs recognize Taiwan. 100+ countries recognize its passport.

@jacobl5488 the entirety of Texas, and it's government, made the decision to join the US because it was composed of US citizens in the first place. Literally the opposite. Just realize your mistake.

@WQCAO-w3m wrong. the CCP is not democratic so their opinion doesn't matter. They aren't the same country/government so their opinion doesn't matter. Dictatorship countries don't understand democracy well it seems. Why it's wrong to invade; because it's wrong. It's wrong to attack an innocent, non invading people just because you want their territory. Because Taiwan is democratic and you'd be going against the people's will.

@justicebao7730 yea win or lose that does. For one, they were the legitimate government at a time. So it's not like the PRC has a claim of legitimacy beforehand. A country broke apart in a civil war and became two countries. It happens.
