NK is poor period. But they spend most of their money on military to suppress their people.. they're considered dangerous Obviously Russia is also considered dangerous.

@paulyoung7561 no he's not. No need for conspiracy theories. He wanted to storm and end it quickly. He just couldn't. It makes him and his country look weak.
1
@kingzeus5217 .US didn't run from them. It left Afghanistan to the afghani.
1
@fiksaciya_shpindelya They didn't "kill people in the donbas". A bunch of militants on behalf of Russia(from Russian backed parties), started a conflict that was quickly being put down until Russia interfered. Russia stole/invaded Crimea. Russia is the aggressor. Russia is the instigator. Russia refuses peace. No one is trying to take anything from Russia. Russia is trying to take something from Ukraine
1
@bismarck9 NATO is trying to avoid involving itself. It's Ukraine's a smaller country that is less wealthy, that's been decimated, against Russia.
1
@gervakstlot8492 because they have nukes and no one wanted to spend money. Russia is the one not looking for peace. It wants domination or destruction. Peace isn't a criminal not being prosecuted.
1
@youpindrag7620 you're confused. US did not run and leave equipment..the Afghanistan government did. US had already begun a withdrawal when Afghanistan government failed. It's why it fell. Because the US had removed itself. Taliban let the US leave because it didn't want to start a fight.
1
@anthony9013 Ukraine stood by itself for months. Definition of proxy differs. I don't think a war that Russia started is a proxy war by NATO. Countries are supported it because they're allies. Even if you view it as NATO fighting via proxy. Russia started it. Russia is in the wrong, ethically, legally. NATO would be "fighting" as an ally via backing, openly, on behalf of international order/laws.
1
@movementmathebula828 it took the US 3 months to win in Afghanistan. What are we talking about?
1
@kwtinternational4451 US doesn't fight for territory.
1
@crescentprincekronos2518 you're in fantasy land. They wanted to crush Kyiv and couldn't. they aren't bombing civilians as much as they could but no one does. It's no one's doctrine to do that. But they have reduced cities to nothing anyway.
1
@piuswanyaga8361 and if Russia hadnt given supplies, weapons, agents, and soldiers to the separatist the conflict in Ukraine would have ended. And if Russia hadn't invaded there wouldn't be a war right now. there's nothing good about surrendering fast. Russia is winning so slowly that it's essentially not happening. They gained ground after 6 months of Ukraine being under supplied
1
@Yuri-wv5cj there was no surrender or conflict. This kind of mentality is what's stopping peace. Russia views treating people fairly as an insult. And surrendering.
1
@alinassib6483 the revisionist of this is crazy. US won against Afghanistan almost instantly. Then they held it for however long they wanted..the point was to give the people a government, which they tried. Then the US left because it didn't want to be there. That government lost to the Taliban..that government ran.

@229andymon plenty of other economist don't view it that way. Russian economy they say is just in a war time and cannabalizing itself. it's what economist hate. Gov taking over. Russia decided to be antagonistic. There's no helping that. Russia's values don't align. It doesn't make sense to let them take eastern Europe, just cause they might dislike china in the future. And China isn't doing anything as bad as Russia.
1
@riversidegardenradio9070 this is the saddest cope ever. Russia couldn't even fulfill its biggest goal in Ukraine..and hadn't secured its secondary goals yet.
1
@riversidegardenradio9070 it hasn't won. And that's not true.
1
@ouroborosbond7412 every country has that right. And Russia is in the wrong.
1
@anthony9013 with out the help of its allies. Maybe not for as long as now. Russia has always been the bigger country here. The aggressor. The invader.
1
@jacqueslee2592 US wasn't trying to win in Vietnam. It was defending. It didn't lose in Afghanistan. No force there could challenge that. The Afghan government fell. Russia actually did lose in Afghanistan.
1
He's just had a lot of surgery. What a vain dude.

Russia doesn't have south America. Brazil is a wannabe India right now. And there's 3 dictatorships in Latin America that support Russia outright.
1
@robmar7190 almost no one loves Russia. A few African warlords. China just wants a buffer. India seems divided Most of Asia is US align over Russia . Big thing is apathy.
