  2. ​ @artman12  you don't know what you're talking about. People in the US don't see India as anyone's colony. That's such a brit issue. We learn almost nothing about it in general. What we learn about India is what's current(what we go out of our way to learn, and to a lesser extent, what media finds interesting). You're projecting your insecurities with the British.
