Countries/the west has sided with India as well. You act like lines were drawn when they weren't. More often than not, Other countries have tried to resolve it, taken India's side, or helped them.

That issue with Pakistan isn't one sided. Even the US has helped India in it.

@proudhuman166 and Aid to India. Over 65bn.

A family member trying to kill another, wouldn't that require taking a side. Like defending the one attacked, or making sure law works ect.

@IN-ud2ks You can't be neutral to a country that attacks you.

@yami6499 If you're supporting an illegal and aggressive war, I have to teach you morals as an individual. And those countries sided with India against Pakistan just the same, in various disputes. And I was just talking to someone about the aid given. You're being a bit delusional. Pakistan was given support so that they didn't rely on Russia. India was offered that same support for that same reason. But international incidents were judged on their own merits. Often siding with India against Pakistan. What you're doing is letting a bias and a weird team mentality cloud both your personal morals, and the actual history.

@yami6499 I'm saying that to you as an individual. Again something you don't seem to understand. And you can easily look up US aid to India, and the history of the US and other countries supporting India against Pakistan in their dispute. As well as being allies right now, both economically, and against china. You're denying reality. And somehow, losing your individual identity, if you have any, and supporting something awful, for no reason. I can't tell EU and US anything because they aren't people that can be talked to. They can only be spoken about. So why are you, as an individual, okay with horrible actions.

@apoorvbansal6590 Any time they acknowledge that Pakistan was wrong or at fault. Including 65, and the kargil. And as far I could find, the US never threatened India with nuclear weapons. Especially since they've never been in conflict.

@tony16991 yea I don't disagree. I'm not even saying that the OP is wrong. But he said the US sided with a military dictatorship but the soviets were also a military dictatorship. Russia now is an authoritarian government. I hope if someone thinks Nixon ignoring what happened would also consider the Ukraine situation as bad. The history might be not smooth. But there were times the US helped India. Times they disagreed with Pakistan. I think some comments are trying to make it out like the US hated India. Or maybe they're transferring feelings from Pakistan. The U.S had wanted to be partners with India from the beginning.
