Russia influence is direct corruption, and indirect advertising support(trolls ect). It'll also hurt any checks and balance type NGO like media watch and human rights watch groups.

  5. ​ @Tabula_Rasa1  because they don't have to do it via funding if they're influencing the people outside of it. If they're influencing the politicians outside of it. This hurts people that are already transparent. You see the president, current and former, tell you it's a Russian law. Because it'll make dissent easier to suppress. Or ignore ECT.
