 @mrboxheadd748 provocation against South Korea and Japan? No. North Korea launching missiles made this. China being rather aggressive with its claims definitely doesn't do it favors.

@jfarm30 yes we should. You're avoiding the fact that war would happen anyway, the countries would just be weaker. And there's a reason Russia doesn't mess with NATO. These things also act as deterrents.

@jfarm30 It's not one or the other. And obviously the china and Russia approaches are worst. No one is trying to make some world government per se right now. They're trying to create a rule set that de escalates. It's why the UN was formed. That's the current system. Yes it's back by a lot of power, including the US. But the US isn't trying to region control the world itself or anything. As bad as the US is, it's not that bad. And the Russian and Chinese alternative is worst. Something like regional polarity would be something like NATO and EU. The African Union, ecowas, sica, celac ect. That would be a worthwhile multi polar world. Which people are and have attempted for a long while.
