Comments by "D. San" (@DSan-kl2yc) on "China starts military drills after Taiwan president's US trip | DW News" video.
Keyboard Emperor China(the current PRC) has never had Taiwan. Taiwan is a separate country that doesn't want to be forced or taken over by china. That's why any person with a conscience wouldn't root for China. A country belongs to the whole, thus all citizens own all land in all the country. And one part can't just take it. An exception is like an odd situation where, it belonged to a country, and some empire is holding on to a piece of it. Or the country isn't united, but each region might be part of a union, like the EU. Though even with the EU, and the UK, the larger part of the Union have allowed the process to even exist. And to happen peacefully. Something China has not allowed. Because Taiwan obviously doesn't want to be a part of China. But fears retaliation if they were vocal about it.

@tomtube1012 this guy is copy pasting this around. The second video he's done it in that I've come across. Have a little shame bot.
1
@tomtube1012 Pretty sure if the US were to claim Taiwan, china would be confused. Because that's what your doing. That's what china is doing.
1
@tomtube1012 another copypasta
1
@tomtube1012 I know you're just doing your job but I'll start reporting you for spam and misinformation if I see you copy and pasting again. Also you left out the continual assurances the US gave Taiwan in the six assurances and Taiwan relations act.
1
@DemosBrutus that's not a job. But being part of troll farm to change people's opinions is something that happens. It's a bad sign if governments try to do this.
1
@tomtube1012 I hope everyone realizes he's admitting to copy and pasting. There's a button/option specifically for reporting spammers. Whether it's part of a government or a company, it's not welcomed.
1
@tomtube1012 Yes spamming might make you a bot or a Chinese troll farm. Obviously.
1
@tomtube1012 there's no reason to laugh here. You misrepresent the US position in regards to Taiwan by leaving it out. Or that acknowledge isn't recognition.
1
@tomtube1012 Important distinctions: Not the Chinese side but that both sides claim this. Meaning it so acknowledged the Taiwan claim at the time. The issue being how both governments maintain this. The use of acknowledge just means that the US placates the government without giving into the demands. "The United States acknowledges that all Chinese on either side of the Taiwan Strait maintain there is but one China and that Taiwan is a part of China." This is how you twist information, misrepresent it, to misrepresent what the situation is. A communique isn't a treaty. And obvious the US position with Taiwan shows otherwise than the US thinking it isn't its own thing.
1
@tomtube1012 spamming is posting the same thing over and over again. I saw you do it in multiple videos, in multiple comments. It wasn't just that. You even admitted it. It was a whole spiel. Word for word.
1
@tomtube1012 if you make a script, and then post it on multiple videos, to multiple people, yes. Just make a solo comment then. And what's even the point of scripting it. Then you wouldn't even be commenting on the video.
1
@tomtube1012 so you posted the same thing almost a dozen times! Enough that I noticed it 2-4 times within two videos within the same or two days. It's not good practice.
1
@tomtube1012 stop calling it the truth. There's two separate issues. Your spam bot activities. And then the issue with your presentation or misrepresentation. Don't conflate them.
1
@tomtube1012 again, you're conflating the issue of spamming And then a weird misrepresentation of the US position. I don't think I've ever addressed the UN issue. But you're point is wrong. It's wrong for Taiwan. It's off for the US. I'll guess what your UN point, that mainland china(PRC) is the the government of mainland china. That has nothing to do with Taiwan. I just checked your comment and I was right. Again you are misrepresenting it. Starting with your whole comment about some ancient china having Taiwan while ignoring the reality of the situation and the relevant history that happened to give them a separate government.
1
@tomtube1012 then you really misrepresented the US view by not including the information I mentioned before. If the US view was that china can do whatever with it, we wouldn't be having this talk and it wouldn't be an issue. The US has a certain ambiguity to maintain relations with china. But it's acts and the recent promise of the president, make it clear that the US views Taiwan as capable of making its own decisions. The UN view isn't neither clear nor universal. It merely gave the chair of China to the PRC. That's all.
1
The fact that they're separated means that they aren't one country. And one of them doesn't want to unite with china. Just because it was part of china in the past. It's fine for countries to not recognize the old Taiwanese claim to China. It makes sense.
1
@vietnguyen4312 Japan gave it to the ROC, twice over. For one, it was given to the ROC after world war 2. The UN didn't even recognize the PRC at the time. The treaty of tapei gave it back to the ROC. And the Cairo, and the Potsdam
