The issue is how Israel has treated the Palestinians before and now. Trying to conflate protection of palestinians with anything else is ridiculous.

  2. That's right, it was about the present and highest priority emergency, which is the constant death Israel is raining down. It wanted a ceasefire that israel's ally didn't allow. But it's seen as a first step. Hamas has said it would release the hostages if there was a ceasefire. Maybe they can't be trusted but they can probably be negotiated with and threatened.

  5. ​ @sloopjb5359  There's ways they could have done this. The most rightful way would have been to include the country that they suppress. US is fighting terrorists in places without razing cities and killing civilians. And without annexing and turning them into a ghetto and without apartheid.
