@danwelterweight4137 Nothing you said has any point with your conclusion. That's like saying prc belongs to Taiwan. Taiwan was the government of China, but it lost it. It maintains its own territory now. Unless you want to give them the rest of china. Everything you said is worthless and doesn't prove anything. It only reinforced how and why they are not a part of current china. And the visit was not integration by Taiwan. I don't know if that's how the Chinese saw it, spin it, or brought it up. But that was not was it was about by Taiwan, and that party said that's not what it was about to the public.

@illuminatigamingec Japan and Cuba are sovereign. The rest are placed in the U.S, which is sovereign.

SCPython It's not a double standard. It's two different situations. One is where a foreign country destabilized a small region where the people are not involved in the process of what they want, and rip part of a country, as part of an imperialist expansionist plot by that foreign country. The other are two countries that broke after a civil war, decades ago, almost a century. And the previous, rightful government kept a small peace. Whatever reasons led to this, it's long ago. And it would be china invading a country to take it back. They would be the expansionist here. One is also currently a democracy that can represent it's people. And they don't want to join China(people's).

@Jole30 Whatever you did, doesn't affect the issue here

@danwelterweight4137 that's not democracy. It's amazing you don't know what democracy is. Winning through force is the opposite of democracy.

@ribenguniang it was not returned to the PRC. It was either returned when ROC was in control, or it was explicitly returned to ROC later after the PRC was in control. Because it was explicitly returned later but defacto returned before then.
1
@ribenguniang There was both, and ROC was in charge. That was china at the time. Later it was turn over specifically to ROC. There was the china that lost it. And there is the china that had a civil war where territory split. That's the reality.

@Richard-yy8tn who's meddling when someone is invited. The taiwanese government wants support.

@ribenguniang they can and have communicated to China. So has the phillipines and Vietnam ECT. That doesn't solve issues with China. This idea that it's the US causing problems between china and other countries is just bad deflection. China does some stuff that steps on them, that steps on their toes, and that they don't like.
1
@ribenguniang The US doesn't invade them, and they're turning to it for support. whatever the US does, doesn't matter as to whether China should be doing what it's doing. Claiming the rights of other countries. You say that so nonchalantly
