Ukraine didn't do anything. It was neutral when Russia invaded. It wanted to exercise it's sovereignty. I'll remind you that what prompted Putin to start his assault on Ukraine was that they wanted an association agreement with the EU. That wasn't picking a side. That wasn't military.

@nashbridges-cu6dy they choose by choosing leaders. They choose by exercising their rights. They want to be in NATO to be protected from someone attacking them.

@nashbridges-cu6dy Russia wanted ego and power. It's ego wouldn't let Ukraine be neutral. It wanted it to be on Russia's side and under their thumb like Belarus.

@jamesmartin7026 Russia was a victim of... Ukranian atrocities against Ukranians? Even within your lie, that doesn't make sense. You know what is threatening and concerning, A country invading and taking your territory.

@hatchxable You're admitting Ukraine didn't do anything. So you think it's true. Ukraine did nothing. The donbas isn't in Russia. The president wasn't Russia's. Ukraine did nothing to Russia. It was neutral. Dealing with its own issues. Ukraine didn't attack people based on ethnicity. Very few people are ethnically Russian or identify as such. The people who fought them were also from the donbas. The ex president wasn't overthrown because he wasn't removed by force. He failed his country and was asked and was going to step down because he was a disgrace to his country. Then he ran to Russia presumably so they would install him, or they asked him. He was removed by the government of Ukraine. All the same elected people, through a governmental process. And Ukraine followed Minsk 2, Russia never did even though Ukraine made the agreement with Russia. Russia doesn't see itself party to it so Russia can't claim anything over it. It fell apart because the separatist never followed it, Russia never followed it, only Ukraine followed it. And everyone always brings up all the broken promises of Russia. They recognized Ukraine's sovereignty twice and promised it to protect it.
