@tomic369 donbas isn't in Russia. Definitely not in 2014. And yes donbas bombed itself on both sides because it's a civil conflict and most combatants were from donbas. The Russian backed, militants with Russian soldiers used Russian weapons, to attack Ukranians in the donbas and bomb it. Russians also bombed the donbas to help them.

@tomic369 Seems true. not a single law happened to suppress them since none went into effect. Most people in donbas aren't Russian. The issue wasn't about being Russian. The issue wasn't about Russian culture ect. There was a civil disagreement. If you call that suppression than Russians in Russia are insanely more suppressed. When some people became armed militants, then they had to be stopped. Which didn't involve any political suppression. And wasn't by ethnicity. Right now Russia is suppressing tartars. Russia is suppressing Ukranians for being Ukranian. And even your comment is denying Ukranians their identification, and supplanting it with Russian. Everyone in donbas is Ukranian. Most of them are Ukranian by descent. Russia has put down actual political and peaceful protests. It's put down armed conflicts or Chechens that don't want to be Russian. and is suppressing a cultural distinct people, various.
