  2. ​ @yellowtunes2756  the land doesn't belong to only those people, but all people. Crimea didn't have a choice. Donbas didn't have a choice. Russia took over. You don't hold someone hostage and then make them vote to be taken hostage. Taiwan is not PRC territory anymore than South Korea is North Korea's.

The Ukranian government remained the same. One politician left and got replaced. Nothing indicates that the will of the donbas people were obeyed or followed by the militants or Russia. Especially after Russia and the militants turned it into a war Zone.

The real coup was the militants from pro Russian parties. A minority that seized power through actual force. And undemocratically ruled. the same people from that region fought against them.

Everything else was just undoing what someone else did. Almost none of it went into affect because it was being analyzed.
