@Zz_Mike-Hawk_zZ Separatist region doesn't mean the separatist were involved. Or even wanted in that region. They didn't campaign and get elected. Russia has already killed more civilians in the donbas. A small region as you said. And they did it, at the time I checked, in less than a year.

 @anomalysyndrome3235 countries already "encircle" Russia and china then. Whether those countries are in a defense agreement or not, shouldn't affect you.

 @shard4756 that doesn't matter. Russian agreements with Ukraine were not on the basis of neutrality. Whether Ukraine even said it would be neutral is debatable.

 @kalencwil3924 Ukraine did honor it. That also had nothing to do with neutrality. But if the other party doesn't follow it, then agreements break down.

@anomalysyndrome3235 they wouldn't be bringing a conflict. It would just be existing countries, but with a defense arrangement. No one is talking about Nukes. Russia already has them. China is already encircled with two nuclear powers near it. China has nuclear weapons. What about those countries being encircled by nuclear powers, china, Russia, and N.K? that's okay to you? That's somehow okay. But these countries having a defense arrangement is bringing some conflict in? No one is bringing in a conflict. These conflicts exist already. And you can't blame any country for seeking a defense arrangement where they'll have help if Russia decides to invade.
