@juliagordeeva4545 Freedom and economic well being are not the same thing. But by that token , the economy being bad isn't because democracy and freedom are bad. Those are policy choices. But it's a huge mistake to give power to someone who would never give them back for the promise of economic prosperity. Because as we've established, democracy won't tank the economy. So all you have to do is choose someone with a good plan. But the tyrant you give power to, won't give it back. The tyrant will take away your choice forever. Even if they tank the economy. A bad democratic leader will pass.
