Different "white" people were considered different races. White isn't a race. Someone referred to it as a class that people were allowed into. The U.S was always a mutt too. They've always been referred to it as that. And saying a natural animal is a mutt is ridiculous.

Do you think more white people would be good then? It's neutral at worst. At best it shows people are uniting. Because this is about mixed people. More people identified as mixed.

@Justme-rt4gj Who told you that? Some far right channel? 99.9% of people just want to live in peace. Probably 100% of people don't have any agenda that's race specific to "whites". Most people, that 99-100%, want a fair system, a fair shake. And a better society in general.

@rpach3023 where does it say that? I would consider a person from Spain Hispanic. This has nothing to do with indigenous culture at all. I just went to their website and it says nothing about that. It's like I said. A Spaniard would be Hispanic. That's why the Hispanic white thing exist and why the non Hispanic thing exists
1
You're Hispanic miss. It's in the name itself. You wouldn't be latin american. And if you think Latino is latin americam than you'd be right to exclude yourself. But you're still Hispanic. You should be able to pick a race if you want to specify.
1
@rpach3023 where are you guys getting this? If you search Hispanic countries, Spain is there. And the census website doesn't talk about excluding people at all.

Definition Hispanics or Latino refers to a person of Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin regardless of race. This includes people who reported detailed Hispanic or Latino groups such as: •Mexican •Puerto Rican •Cuban •Dominican Republic Central American (excludes Mexican) •Costa Rican •Guatemalan •Honduran •Nicaraguan •Panamanian •Salvadoran •Other Central American South American •Argentinian •Bolivian •Chilean •Colombian •Ecuadorian •Paraguayan •Peruvian •Uruguayan •Venezuelan •Other South American Spaniard

@rpach3023 do you know the difference between Mexican and Hispanic? Because it's literally the same as Spain and Hispanic. You didn't explain anything nor seem to understand anything.
1
@rpach3023 Hispanic is a term the U.S created to refer to what the definition I posted is. In other words it's an English term. Like smh here.
1
@rpach3023 the very person that posted this proves you otherwise. Like Europeans from Spain are Hispanic people from Europe. Even then you'd be wrong because there's immigration to Spain. Hispanic comes not from the indigenous culture but from Spain itself. It is in relation to Spain and it's influence. My mind is boggled by your inability to understand that. How can you say these latAm cultures have a Spanish influence but Spain doesn't.
1
@rpach3023 what the hell are you talking about. Do you hear yourself. Spain isn't Portugal. Unless you're going back to when a kingdom that became part of Spain was part of Portugal before it broke off. But it's equivalent to refer to both Portuguese and Brazilians as Iberians or Ibero(as in the OEI). Or Latino in the U.S. Though I don't know if any equivalent term exists for Portuguese speakers. And this is about how the U.S sees everyone. It's an ENGLISH TERM. On top of that in casual conversations, people in specific countries in latAm would only refer to themselves. And would rarely use such macro terms either.

For Anna and R Pach https://youtu.be/xzjd_7qkYtU One comment pointed out that the equivalent of asian and African ect would just be American.

@TroyBrownTV so you realize you're racist
1
@TroyBrownTV The biggest change was just that people consider themselves mixed. How's that not natural.
1
I used to have that hope but no. We saw how young people became more conservative with trump before. We saw some blacks and Hispanics go to trump more. And there's a history of white racist co opting other groups to enhance their number. Like the Irish, poles ect. They've started with white enough Hispanics. There's also this newish subculture of conservative black men that's more about like wanting to be appeased to feel like a man. And they don't embrace the republicans..but some of them do.
1
@TroyBrownTV they're unrelated.
1
@TroyBrownTV How would they be. What sociologist has said that? Nothing I've ever read has indicated that. Immigrants don't control the police, or education, had nothing to do with white flight, or white people's racism. Or republicans disinterest in the public. You'd have to try to stretch about jobs. Except it's been demonstrated that they don't take any groups jobs. And wages would be more of an issue. And the people who don't want to raise wages, and are anti union are... Right wingers again.

Nothing to do with that. Birthrates are down overall. Partly because that's not it is in developed countries, with people having kids later. The other part is that there's a fertility crisis that's been looming for a long time. People just keep ignoring it. Scientist have been talking about it for a while.
