If you met them in person, then you could just do an activity together. Board games, mall, restaurant, concerts. Or basketball or hanging out. If you only know them online. Then I've been in that situation. You might lose touch with them. You could stay in touch on chat, or do some other activity. Well gaming is only an issue if you think it gets in the way of something else. Then just naturally go do those other things. Give yourself time for those things. Like chatting, people understand you won't be online everyday. Most people, some won't honestly. Or they'll also move on to people that follow their lifestyle. But most will let you go in and out, or game on your schedule.
