@bigkingsean1330 loosening means broadening it. And the reason was the pandemic. And cause it benefits people by making it easier to vote. Not to cheat.

@jangguttok7437 they usually do automatic ids in those other countries. In the U.S, you register with your home address. So you can't vote multiple times. Voting takes place one day out of the week, which is a work day, and no time off for it. And they close at like 8pm. U.S transportation is also bad, and people on average work like 30 minutes from their house or more. Meaning there's very little time to vote. And the i.d station is usually even further away. You have to go to like a dmv, where you get car licenses.

@bigkingsean1330 and there's no reason they should. It's convinient and progress. It's the same system in place that lets you vote in person. If anything the chance of a mail in vote getting thrown out compared to in person is the only thing that's higher. Same system that's existed for mail in, and military personnel. There hasn't been found to be any compromise in the system. There's no sign that anything went wrong or any uptick in fraud. Only thing you hear is a Trump conspiracy, that some crazy republicans keep perpetuating. There's no way fraud would have benefited democrats. Unless you think that they committed it themselves. And somehow ignore that the popular vote also went to the same person that won. And democrats have won before.
