Usually that range difference isn't significant, and usually the Tesla costs more. Sometimes only a few thousand dollars, and sometimes almost twice as much. Now self driving might be worth it to you. I'm not disputing that. And it's a fine car. But the hype is as much marketing. And part of that marketing, is the cult of Elon. And it's deleterious to competition and the market. And it's deleterious right now to people accepting and defending some of musk's bad decisions. I understand you might be defending the car and maker. But at least one other comment is defending the man and giving him too much credit. And 1/3rd of what you said would fall to any EV. While another might depend on the service that can come with buying a car anyway. Of course if you really want to help the environment, you should focus on public transit anyway. I think they're right on that And I think you're right in that he was in his house and he had the right. And they should not have had the right to be there without announcing themselves. They had enough time to surround him. They had enough time to pin him down. They chose to shoot. And to do so fatally. Hell they chose to enter in an assault without letting people know. So I disagree that it's reasonable for them to shoot. Legally I think a judge or a lawyer will say what you're saying. But I'd consider that wrong. The laws would be wrong until they are corrected. That assumption is fucked up. If that assumption was true, someone could have their hand raised with a gun and get shot. Whether intentional or not, you're arguing that the cops should have the right to shoot someone in that situation. When they just shouldn't. And the way we stop this from happening again, and eliminate no knock warrants is exactly by saying that these actions are wrong and they don't and shouldn't have the right to kill someone in this circumstance

But as long as one sees themselves and lives their life in Canada, I'd view that as integrated. When you can live in a country like a regular person. you're integrated. So I don't know what those people expect. When is enough enough for some people. Integration is not that complex. It has to be gradual. We have to be okay that maybe they won't get it. Maybe they won't understand other cultures. Maybe they'll never feel super comfortable being surrounded by a new culture. But that can be tolerated if they don't lash out, yell at people. Have enough awareness of right and wrong that they don't give into their apprehension. Then make the police academy give out an equivalent 2 year. Take away the military preference(maybe it's good as background experience but it gives extra points in scores, and that should be out). But disbanding and reforming has worked in two cities. And not cutting funds to social services is important too. The reason why police have such high funding, relatively, is because everything else has been cut.

I think every politician has said that they don't want to hear anymore or that they want more action. So that's just more nebulous. What we do know is that the phrase is unisex and can apply to alot more things because it's a figurative phrase (the limit might be that it's audible). But even in March I was in class and the teacher was like really shaking it off and he was like this old man, it was really dismissive of it at first. Eventually he came around too and he got it or he thinks he got it and also one of the people there worked at a hospital cuz it was like a night class. So he kept us informed. this is when hospitals were starting to be overwhelmed and we heard about it first hand.

Safety nets, how livable or crushing a certain level of poverty is, and mobility in the lower levels instead of people focusing on the higher levels of being rich. If the U.S glamorizes guns, so would the rest of the world as they export it. And lots of people here don't have guns or just have one in their house that they almost never see, just in case. The U.S doesn't glamorize guns as much as you might think. What's happened is much worst. It's been tied to identity. It's been tied to conservative politics. And that's tied to religious(a branch of the conservative, evangelicals). And it's been tied to fundamental Human/U.S rights, and the very foundation of the government. To the point of it being a signal of the government becoming dictatorial if anything is done. I'm guessing those societies are more communal or social with how they view each other. The U.S has a strain of people that made the word welfare ugly, and something shameful. They view it as a drain by lazy people. They hate the idea(or have it) that it's immigrants getting benefits. They hate the idea it's black people. I know that kinda thing also exists in the U.K and Canada. Perhaps those places are lucky that they got through important benefits before those kinds of voices got to power, or before nonwhite people became such a target.
