@im1085 a knife can't pierce a police shield. They could have been as far and as close as they wanted. They could have thrown a net on him. You defended something absolutely needless. They should have treated this like a suicide. Trying to talk to them. Get their family. Get whoever. There's even commercial stuff that can make it so you can go up to a knife and grab it.
