  1. What you don't get is that these people want this. Republicans world view is drifting away from the rest of humanity. And they pretend that either science or rationality is on their side. I've seen comments by people saying why don't the experts look at how many of these people would have died without covid. As if we're all dumb and think deaths that would be happening anyway are being attributed to the virus.
