Yeah it lines up, and weeks ago, it's no exaggeration. Even if we say it generously it was a riot. A mob going in looking for politicians, and having targets, wouldn't have ended well. And we know how much they hate "leftist", "progressives", that they call "socialists". And AOC in particular. Not sure any random politician(except maybe well known republicans) would have been safe, but especially not Dem ones, especially a well know progressive.
