@alfredbooker393 if that was the US, Russia would be toppled. It's the Ukranians who are suffering the assault of a bigger country, trying to destroy them, or control them, and take all it's resources for itself. Now that they've failed, they've scaled back to taking some land and resources along a part of Ukraine that they had already stolen.

@Roger Mellie donbas is Ukrainian so that doesn't make sense. Russia sent in an agent who lead their Crimean invasion to the donbas, ong with others and eventually soldiers. To create an insurrectionist force. This militant group, took over and terrorized the civilian population.
