And the cop wasn't listening to the kid. The cop was in no danger for him to attack the kid. The kid was invited there. The kid was unarmed. The kids arms/hands are visible. The kid said he could get someone to confirm the situation. The cop didn't listen. The cop had no reason to even detain or arrest the kid, as there haven't been crimes in the area, and the kid wasn't caught trying to break in anywhere.

He really is. There's a line after the girl comes out, when he should know he's wrong. And instead he says something like "you think you can do whatever you want". Cops really think themselves too over people. It's why this country needs police reform..the very basic idea of the cops being citizens with a job is lost onto the cops themselves. These cops seem untrained in interacting with people at all. The idea of them acting like an occupying force, or even a repressive force really seems true at times.

It's worst watching the video. He was making the dude cry, while being an ass about it. Sick. You'd think he'd care about being mistaken.

It could have been avoided if the officer had followed the law too according to everyone investigating this. The kid didn't even argue anything. He was explaining and trying to get his girlfriend down. And the cop wasn't investigating anything either. The cop did everything wrong. He attacked an innocent person. He didn't listen. He drew a weapon to someone that wasn't a threat.
