People being targeted because of the color of their skin in this case is a big deal. It is the reason this event happened. Literally no one said it is the only problem. Government info has said for years that it's been on the rise. And it's led to more than one terrorist attack by these types of people. There are crimes, and then there are these. Taiwanese being targeted is also a shame..which speaks to the issue of guns and access, and mental illness. And in the case of that shooter also homes. But the 18 year old had much more support and was radicalized. Hell, he radicalized himself over information he stumbled across. It's an issue with how this information is talked about, even starting to get to the center or mainstream of the republican party. It's like saying 9/11 isn't a big deal because people get hit by cars.
