@Trainermika_nyc neither US nor NATO took Kosovo. They only intervened because of serbians brutality. And the country it was a part of fell apart. The people there were not militants for another country or wanting to join it. The Kosovo and Serbian conflict happened by itself.
1
@RememberAuroraColoradoUSA we hesitate all the time. There's multiple dictatorships, that have alliances with adversaries. And there was no encroaching hostile force. every NATO country was giving Russia a break. Europe and the US were. Russia encroached towards the West. Russia went into Georgia, Ukraine, and Moldova.
1
@superjaded1738 like Mexico should still be Mexico. In the 40s, the current rules were made because they are considered fair.
1
@chadhaire1711 why does Russia have the right. Focus on how
1
@spartacusche and Russia was part of Ukraine. That has nothing to do with anything.
1
@chaoslordmissingno that's your logic. The definition isn't set in stone. I don't think it's a proxy war because it's a defensive war. Russia started it. Not NATO, not the US. No one but Russia wanted it. That's the first definition of proxy war even.
1
@chaoslordmissingno there's nothing about funding ect in Minsk. we should focus on Russian because they are in the wrong, the aggressors.
1
@Greatnorth483 Ukraine is a country
1
@rawtalent8670 Russia wasnt protecting it's borders. It was invading some one else's. It was trespassing someone else's borders. What insane rationalization. The whole issue here is that Russia didn't respect Ukraine's borders.
1
@younggeezer8232 that's what Russia is doing when it's violating another country's sovereignty. Russia violated it's agreements. Of course the issue wasn't agreement for Russia. It's ego. Russia wants to be a big fish in a small pond..so it acts like a bully. It doesn't want Ukraine to be in a strong alliance.
1
@chaoslordmissingno US literally told Russia to not do this. There's no stake in war with Russia for anyone. US and EU make money from commerce mostly. The stake on one side wasn't for war.
1
If they have nothing to do with the policy of the country, why bother harassing them specifically.
1
There's no argument. It's crazy people. That's a threat. When you show up armed and say do something, that's a threat. An implied threat.
1
@eleethtahgra7182 ethnic Russians weren't being targeted. There was fighting in the overall region. Russia had nothing to do with the situation. The idea that Russia can lay claim to a region because people with Russian descent are in it is beyond ridiculous and a bad precedent. Your bad faith acting of trying to make it sound like it's ethnic cleansing, is wrong.
1
@Jakeisks you're delusional. That's called anedoctal. Republicans are probably split. And they represent the minority party.
1
@Jakeisks and The U.K claimed U.S territory. What's your point
1
In this case he isn't
1
@ShaunbirKlair24 even if he did, what a pyrrhic victory that would be.
1
@arudiga just goes to show why they can't trust Russia. Russia even lied initially and said it didn't do it. Stuff like this is why Russia is such a shit country. A country that killed it's democracy. Poisons politicians. Keeps it's citizens under a boot.
1
@wally7856 they've been doing something about this invasion. Why wouldn't they do something. They were probably going to go as far as the donbas anyway. Why would this annexation, this fictional annexation, stop them.
1
@gluteusmaximus1657 how ironic would it be if Ukraine invited them to join. Just hold a referendum and voila. I feel for the Russians that realize that their democracy is dead, and Putin is a dictator.
1
@arudiga at that time, Ukraine feared the Russians and didn't want war. But Russia forced them to confront that fear. And also prepared them for war. Crimea, and the donbas, gave Ukraine time to learn. And the government of allies saw too. And Ukraine worked with them to train. What sweet justice, any losses that happen to Russia are deserved.
1
@aq1184 it's crazy how in your mind these people are the third Reich despite them not doing anything to Russia. Or to Jews. Or to any country around them.
1
No they don't. They're just too inward. Most of the world doesn't think Russia is justified or in self defense. There's no self defense over this. Most of the world is too poor to care. Or too psychopathic(their governments).
1
@RRRR0707 the US does allow that. Russia has no right over those countries. NATO has countries bordering Russia. There could be nuclear missiles right next to Russia at any time. But they don't do that. And they wouldn't. Ukraine wasn't even joining NATO before Russia started it's invasions. It is complete BS on Russia's part. Accept that. It is ego on losing control of Ukraine. Its ego on Russia losing influence and support. Which they lost because they're A-holes who don't keep up with the times. Because they're cruel to their neighbors.
1
Do you agree with Trump or not
1
It targeted Hispanic and blacks over whites. Yet whites had a higher percentage of weapons found. All numbers were low anyway. It's a discriminatory policy based on stereotypes that are racists. And it harasses innocent people. Treating them like criminals. Hell it should be illegal because there's no due process or anything. Just discrimination.
1
@hypsyzygy506 that's impossible and unrealistic. Russia just staying to itself is enough. Hopefully the Russian people become more involved politically and they can reverse the damage people like Putin have done to their republic. And they can elect someone decent.
1
Alternative Headlines Literally nothing indicates anyone wanted war except Russia and Putin. Because they were the ones that started it.
1
@solomonike1709 why would the U.S need to do that in Ukraine instead of somewhere secure in it's massive border. It was a lab to study stuff in all likelihood. There's a lot of them. And the U.S backs a lot of research.
1
@princessfartsparkles6681 bs. Like corky said, she doesn't know the meaning of the word. Unlike people who create confusion and take the vaccine, the Pope's stance is in line with his actions.
1
One could be that vaccines are working. And if the new pills are being used, that they're working too.
1
@ootoobin well it's in response to op's lowest daily deaths comment.
1
Russia saying it might hurt negotiations is something out of an onion article
1
Props to all the strong Russians that are anti war
1
She described the coup in Myanmar. That's what republicans wanted?

The black guy was the best. The guys in general made sense. The black lady is condoning it. And the Asian lady who's the story is about (jeong) said disparaging remarks about a group of people. It's not about her literally saying white people. It's about the substance and vitriol, the spite towards a group. She viewed it as okay and acceptable. And people demand more from those that work in the public eye. Maybe she thought she was going to be s younger early twenties alt girl forever. But she has to face some consequence for this to send the message that it isn't mature and okay. Instead everyone is excusing it because she'd a girl and Asian. Literally for being a girl and sometimes they mention she's gay. How many things does it take for her to get a pass. How much of her sec and race can she used as shield? It's dumb. I saw the context for some of them. It wasn't a discussion of achievements. Someone didn't say Asians did nothing. And she didn't s at racist old men. She just said old white men. If she wanted to insult them. She could have gone for their intelligence, achievement, or lack of character. Instead she went for racial insults. Personally I think she was always at that level. She had those thoughts. Regardless of whatever insults she got. Maybe she has changed as she matured. But she didn't even really disown them. She side stepped it. It's ridiculous thst James Gunn got fired for jokes. Nasty as they are. But I get it because it's Disney. But this girl that flat out said insulting things towards swaths of people based on race.
1
@HumanHamCube president of a country at war I bet if he was wearing a nice suit people would be criticizing him for wearing nice things
1
@sdghomero Zelensky is a president
1
@puljano .the war is on the country. They regained most of the territory and push them to that new front line. Any part of Ukrainian can still be attacked and still are.
1
@Crutonwyt are serious Republicans making an issue about how people dress
1
@serenitypeaceandcomfort3669 Zelensky is a president. And supreme commander in chief
1
So they admit they shot them. Even their version of events sounds bad. They shot into the air to calm them down?! Then they shot into the unarmed crowd.
1
@hectormorales5306 they're supervised like toddlers. They can't decide where they keep it. If you want to implement a law where people have to keep their guns with the police, then I'm for it.
1
@hectormorales5306 then use something else like a gun club that keeps it and is responsible if they hand it to you when you're unstable, or become a terrorist, down some white supremacy rabbit hole. Stop acting like we can't put barriers in front of doing illegal things. You're arguing for making murder legal. Would that solve murders from happening. Would having no traffic laws stop people from getting run over
1
@ddsbobos7873 The Morons can see it but they can't find any evidence for it
1
It's the start. People need to stop being hard at expressions of sympathy. People feel when they see stuff like that. That emotion is the beginning of calls for justice and to do something. Disregarding empathy and sympathy doesn't help either.
1
@dumbgunsllc5451 because he has the authorization.
1
@Red_Whitenblu the entire time for using US weapons, it's a condition for aid
1
@Jordan__21373 It doesn't matter. Because it means nothing. And it's not indicative of anything. It definitely does not give the israeli state the right to treat people that way, like a dictatorship. It's one of those phrases that like defund the police, can mean different things to different people. A democratic state, freedom from oppression, and perhaps a darker one. But it's not all or nothing. Again, how can you watch old men and women, and see nurses and journalists killed. How can you watch what Russia has done, and do the same. It's sometimes easier to see the problem when you aren't involved. People can recognize it then without anything distracting their morality. It won't mean conflicts will stop right away but a guiding moral principle should be to not treat people like this.
