By bringing up Clinton, he actually made the point that holding Trump accountable for his actions is correct. Clinton was impeached for allegedly cheating on his wife. Trump has been indicted for cheating on his wife. Trump is getting the better deal because its only civil. Clintons presidency was in jeopardy. Trump is being held accountable just as Clinton was.
